I am a multi-disciplinary artist working in film and installations. I start from a macro perspective. I am interested in the ways in which humans perceive reality. In particular, I explore the stories, models, and boundaries that we use to explain how the world works, as we grapple with its complexity. These stories might be based on theories, ideologies, culture, technologies or professional codes of practice. I am also interested in what these framings obscure. How do we stay curious about what’s outside the framing of the model so we can use it safely?

My long-form films are independent documentaries focusing on artists who work and create internationally. These stories are filmed in observational style.

My short-form art films explore new technologies and how they affect the creative impulse for artists.
